Here are the details for the coming week:
Mon. 2/5: Sections Only Practice 7-8ish
Tues. 2/6: EP Sections at Buck Hill; SLP Sections at Wild Mountain
Wed. 2/7: Practice 7-9pm, those interested in being a captain next year will be giving their speeches
Thurs. 2/8: Gaper/Jerry Day - Final Practice of the season 7-9pm, please come dressed in your best "Jerry" outfit or fun costume! If you need any clarification on what to wear please talk to your captains
Fri. 2/9: JV Champs at Buck Hill, 4pm (EP JV ONLY) - if you have been racing at the JV races this year, you will be racing at JV Champs
We are looking to do the banquet (for both EP and SLP) the weekend of April 13-14 (exact day TBD), so mark your calendars! Be on the lookout for more details in the coming weeks.

Thurs. 1/25: Lake Conference Varsity Race at Buck Hill (EP and SLP Varsity) - inspection 3:30, race start 4:00

(Reminder to parents - if the volunteer positions aren't filled, the coaches will have to do it and then we won't be able to coach the athletes.)

Wed. 1/17: Powder Ridge Metro West Race (All Varsity and JV)
This is a SLP conference race that EP was invited to so this is an everybody race, you are expected to be there.
SLP excused 12:15, CMS excused 12:30, EPHS excused 12:45
Bus load: 1:15 at EPHS Activities Center (EP and SLP you are required to ride the bus unless you have a parent drive, no students may drive themselves)
Bus leave: 1:30
Inspection: 3:30
Race Start: 4:00
We should return to EPHS around 7:30-8ish.
Details for Thurs Varsity and Fri JV races will be sent in the weekly update on Sunday.

Wed 1/3: Practice 7-9pm, gates and time trials
Thurs. 1/4: Lake Conference Varsity Race at Buck Hill (EP and SLP Varsity) - inspection 3:30, race start 4:00

Fri. 1/5: O'Lake Invite at Wild Mountain (All EP and SLP varsity and JV) - all day

Lutsen Trip

UMD students providing training and coaching for those who would like to ski gates, otherwise athletes are welcome to free ski

6:00 Stop in Hinckley for dinner (options are Taco Bell, McDonalds, Dairy Queen, or Subway)
Arrive back at EPHS at approximately 8:30pm

Please make sure you get registered. You will not be allowed to participate in dryland next week if you are not registered. For instructions on how to register, click here. If you're running into issues with registration, please contact the Eden Prairie High School activities office.
Also reminder that Gear West Team Night is tonight, November 9th, from 4 - 7.
EPHS Alpine Captains' Practices
10/30/2023
Captains' practices are being held from 3:45pm to 5:00pm on Mon 10/30, Wed 11/1, and Mon 11/6. Meet at on the grass fields by Lot B on the Northwest side of Eden Prairie High School. Wed 11/8 will be an Alpine vs. Nordic Soccer Game in the EPHS Activity Center (see announcement below).
Important Dates and Reminder to Register

Our season is right around the corner! Registration is open! You need to be registered to participate in dryland, so make sure you get that done in the next couple weeks. Here are some key upcoming dates to put on your calendar:
Friday, 10/27: Concessions and Stadium Clean Up (please sign up if you are able!)
Monday, 10/30, 7 PM: PAC Meeting (starts in the EPHS main gym with all sports and then will break out to alpine only; SLP can arrive at around 7:15)
Monday, 11/13, 7 PM: First Day of Dryland
Friday, 12/1 - Sunday, 12/3: Lutsen Trip
Also, a reminder that the last two ski swaps are this weekend (Hyland and Duluth) if you are looking for any used gear!

Team photos for both EP and SLP have been rescheduled to this coming Thursday 2/9 at 4:30 pm at Hyland Hills. We will go back to doing them on the bunny hill like we have in the past. Plan to wear your ski gear and have your skis. An email went out last Monday from Linhoff Photo about ordering photos if you would like. Practice will be at the normal time later. Let the coaches know if you have any questions!

The season has started! Dryland Practice will be at 7 pm to about 8:45 pm meeting in the Activities Center Lobby. We will be practicing Mon - Thurs this week, and only Mon and Tue Next week since the fundraiser is going on Wed.

Reminder to families that if your athlete wants to qualify for a Varsity letter participation in fundraisers is required. We are still in need of a few parents for Friday night's football concessions, this is a fun way to meet some of the other parents on the team and help the team support boosters as well as raise some funds.
